LOG one-point-five,

momentarily in this babylon system.

It’s always a good time for less.

A game of whether your own mind betrays you.

my partner and I have this gentle war happening between us where there’s an object in the bathroom, which I believe, gets in my way. so I move it a couple inches. the next time she uses the bathroom, she moves it back. This has been happening back and forth for months but no one ever says a word about it. I am beginning to appreciate this small gesture.

You call, me haul...demolition junk removal.

When a man rides a long time through wild regions he feels the desire for a city. Finally he comes to Isidora, a city where the buildings have spiral staircases encrusted with spiral seashells, where perfect telescopes and violins are made, where the foreigner hesitating between two women always encounters a third, where cockfights degenerate into bloody brawls among the bettors. He was thinking of all these things when he desired a city. Isidora, therefore, is the city of his dreams: with one difference. The dreamed-of city contained him as a young man; he arrives at Isidora in his old age. In the square there is the wall where the old men sit and watch the young go by; he is seated in a row with them. Desires are already memories.

sunlight and warmth accompanied by a cool breeze. the order is a frittura mista di calamari e acciughe, patate fritte, extra limone, extra maionese e un litro di vino bianco. even better if you share it with someone you love. feeling buzzed off pleasure.

To believe in a God and mistake that belief, for god, may be the biggest insult to the so called “creator”.

The MEaning of somehting and the possibility of the lack there of is a moment of arrival.

When was the last time you gave thanks?

Clove and bay leaf, smashed in a mortar and pestle (inhale slowly).

Sound is intuitive and associative, dream-like and consciousness stirring. In many ways it is even more visual than visuals, because when you’re looking at something you are seeing that thing, but if you’re listening, especially with no visual accompaniment, you easily imagine pictures in your mind’s eye, with varying directions and results. Even with concrete sounds that are easily identifiable, you can still fill in the blanks of what is occurring around them, or ignite a memory that has its own set of images, which are abstractions of the real experience. This blurriness adds new elements to what could otherwise seem so grounded, allowing a balancing act of connectedness and infinite openness, of reality that veers off into different possible strands, extensions of what could be.

Zoom out enough...and maybe you’ll see that...everything...is indeed perfect.

Paid a visit to Pizzi a few days ago. He’s been singing to the angel of death to come take him away. He thinks they might be preoccupied with the current level of human loss on earth and that he’s not a high priority.

Tarde lluviosa en gris cansado,
y sigue el caminar.
Los árboles marchitos.
Mi cuarto, solitario.
Y los retratos viejos
y el libro sin cortar...

Chorrea la tristeza por los muebles
y por el alma. Quizá
no tenga para mí Naturaleza
el pecho de cristal.

Y me duele la carne del corazón
y la carne del alma. Y al hablar,
se quedan mis palabras en el aire
como corchos sobre agua.

Sólo por tus ojos
sufro yo este mal,
tristezas de antaño
y las que vendrán.

Tarde lluviosa en gris cansado,
y sigue el caminar.

Watch for those who are unaware of their fixtaion on the negative parts of life, this comes from an internal source.

It is possible to stretch splay time...as it has never be linear.

If you consider yourself lucky in any way, maybe you didn’t play a part in it.
If you don’t consider yourself lucky in any way, maybe you did play a part in it.

If you consideer yourself lucky in any way, maybe you did play a part in it.
if you don’t consider yourself lucky in any way, maybe you didn’t play a part in it.
Humanity is a shared hallucination

Maximum intervention vs. minimum intervention?
Loudest in the room... yeah, yeah, yeah, shaaaatup.

Haven’t things always been taken care of?
yes, so don’t make them more difficult than they need to be.

You do realize that there was a time you lived without social media?

The act of making something with one’s hands in a material is a way of participating in the world. It is a conversation, interaction and negotiation between the person and her environment. By manipulating material, we affect the world and are simultaneously affected. What we make either stays or vanishes, but the experience has changed us, maybe in little ways, maybe in great ways. Our hands are the ultimate contact point between our self and the world, the physical and material. Through our sense of touch, we feel the material and its properties, its potential and its agency. When we have become familiar with a material, we have grown in understanding it and its possibilities in relation to our skills and our intentions. We may recall the tactual feel of a material even when not in contact with it, through our tactile memory and imagination. We have embodied the material and the way it behaves or the tools used to handle it. For practitioners working with their hands, there might be a feeling of the hands taking over and doing the work as if by themselves.
